This single estate Darjeeling tea is from Namring Upper Estate in the famous Darjeeling region. Darjeeling teas are known as the “champagne of teas”, prized for their complexity and unique muscatel character which can be compared to the slight pucker that is felt when eating muscatel grapes. Every Darjeeling is unique, look for notes of walnut and nutmeg in this particular batch (a personal favorite chosen out of sampling many from other estates!)
Brewing instructions- infuse in 80 C water for 2 - 3 minutes, always add water to the tea, not the reverse! 1 cup water to 1 tsp / 2g of tea.
